빛을 품은 바다의 노래: 낮에는 빛을 담고 밤에는 빛을 내는 그림

바다를 그린다. 그것은 단순한 풍경이 아니라, 시간이 고이는 자리이자 감정이 밀려드는 마음의 지형이었다. 내가 그리는 바다는 언제나 빛을 머금고 있다. 바다 속 깊은 곳, 햇살이 스며드는 물결 아래, 어둠조차 숨을 쉬는 그곳에 생명의 숨결이 머문다. 야광이라는 매체는 그 빛을 시간 속에 머물게 하는 도구가 되었다. 낮의 빛을 머금은 그림은 밤이 되면 스스로 은은하게 빛을 낸다. 눈을 감아야 비로소 보이는 마음처럼, 그림은 어둠 속에서 진실한 빛을 드러낸다. 바다는 자궁을 채운 양수처럼, 양분과 따뜻한 온기를 머금고 생명을 잉태한다. 그리고 빛과 어둠이 교차하는 그 심연 속에 나는 선인장들을 심었다. 선인장은 원래 사막의 식물이다. 건조한 땅에서 살아남는 법을 아는, 모진 날씨 속에서도 꽃을 피우는 생명. 하지만, 바닷속 선인장은 존재할 수 없는 꿈이자, 존재하기로 결심한 마음이다. 상처를 안은 채 피어나는 생명, 물속에서도 뿌리내리려 애쓰는 고요한 의지이다. 그건 생존이 아니라, 사랑을 기억하는 방식이기도 하다. 나는 그 바다에 생명을 담고, 빛을 새기고, 기도를 묻었다. 어둠이 닿아야 드러나는 빛, 침묵 속에서 피어나는 노래. 그 모든 것이 나의 바다 안에 있다. 바다는 어둠 속에서도 빛을 품고 희망을 드러낸다. 바다는 생명을 창조하며 살아있는 모든 것들을 포용한다.
I draw the sea. It was not just a landscape, but a place where time gathers and a topography of the mind where emotions rush in. The sea I paint always contains light. Deep in the sea, under the waves of sunlight, and where even the dark breathes, the breath of life stays. The medium of luminous has become a tool to keep the light in time. A picture that contains the light of the day glows subtly by itself at night. A picture reveals the true light in the dark, just like a heart that can only be seen when you close your eyes. The sea conceives life with nutrients and warm warmth, like a amniotic fluid that fills a womb. And I planted cactuses in the abyss where light and darkness intersect. A cactus is originally a desert plant. The life that blooms even in the dense weather, knowing how to survive on dry land. However, a cactus under the sea is a dream that cannot exist and my heart that is determined to exist. The life that blooms with wounds, the calm will that strives to take root in the water. It is not survival, but a way of remembering love. I put life in the sea, put light, and buried prayer. The light that is revealed only when darkness touches. The song that blooms in silence. It's all in my sea. The sea embraces hope, holding light even in the dark. The sea creates life and embraces everything that is alive.
